Are just starting out or want to upskill? The Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (IIPMM) has courses to suit your needs. Joining the line-up at this year’s Education Expo, the IIPMM are available to answer career or training-based questions, Saturday 8th September at the RDS.

About the IIPMM

The Irish Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management originally formed over thirty-five years ago. Currently, the Institute promotes excellence in procurement and supply management, both in public and private sectors. A not-for-profit, non-commercial organisation, IIPMM is ultimately managed and controlled by its members.

Incidentally, the Institute not only offers QQI accredited Education Programmes, but also hosts Focused Skills Training and runs events throughout the year. Therefore, keeping members in touch with the latest thinking in Purchasing and Supply Management is paramount for them.

Training Options Available

Education Programme in Procurement and Supply Management

Their Degree and Certificate Programmes have been designed to suit busy purchasing professionals. Therefore are perfect for anyone wanting a degree or other qualification in business, procurement and supply management. Also, all their programmes are part-time, accredited and fully recognised in Ireland and abroad.

Options include:
• One semester certificate awards in Purchasing Fundamentals, Warehousing and Supply and Public Procurement,
• Two year Higher Certificate in Business, Procurement, that leads to
• Bachelor of Business Ordinary and Honours Degree in Procurement and Supply Management.

Training Courses for Buyers, Logistics, Supply Chain and Materials Management Staff

Presently, the IIPMM provides short seminars designed to suit anyone; whether just starting out in a procurement and supply management career, or simply updating skills. These training courses focus on skills and competencies, from negotiation and supplier performance measurement to public sector procurement.
