About Dublinia?
Dublinia are a not for profit organisation established for research and education purposes.
The organisation runs the Heritage Centre in the heart of Viking and Medieval Dublin. They’re a well-established QQI approved professional training organisation.
The Centre offers a unique and practical insight of the industry and the role of the tour guide. Consequently, learners achieve professional competencies and high quality standards to industry best practice.
The board of the organisation are dedicated to developing and growing its education remit for the benefit of learners. Furthermore, it’s dedicated to using Dublinia’s experience in the industry to deliver practical and relevant training for the benefit of adult learners.
QQI accredited courses
Dublinia delivers QQI approved training programmes in Culture and Heritage studies and National Tour Guiding. Furthermore, they provide training programmes to a variety of organisations in the tourism and heritage industry.
The National Tour Guide Training programme equips students with the skills, knowledge and expertise to manage and deliver a comprehensive tour. Participants of the course will learn how to speak with confidence and communicate clearly with tourists.
The Cultural and Heritage Studies programme offers students a comprehensive knowledge of Irish culture and practical experience for employment in tourism.
Bespoke Training
Dublinia’s role as a visitor attraction and training provider has a full appreciation and understanding of the importance of the visitor experience to your organisation. They understand the importance of quality and consistency in the delivery of guided tours and the challenges that can arise.
Dublinia works with organisations to develop their company’s tour guide competencies in order to achieve a consistent, professional and high quality standard of tour ensuring best practice and delivering a quality experience to your customers.
